Review: I bought my airow gun from Ebay. My first impression of the airow gun was cheesy packaging but it was well protected in that packaging. Once I removed it from its plastic package I was impressed. The quality was top notch, all aluminum was finished well and the barrel has a very shiney inside. The instructions took me step by step and everything and it is adjustable for us left handers. The airow gun comes with a full set of extra O rings and all the allen wrenchs you need to install and adjust it. Even though the barrel is spider threaded a spider barrel won’t fit on the airow gun without grinding down the barrel right behind the theads because a standard spider barrel has a neck that is too thick. You don’t need to grind much away and it won’t stop you from using the barrel on another marker. I used a dremmel to thin it down and it fit fine. The airow gun/compound bow setup feels very solid and I felt confident with its strength right away…it is built tough.

It isn’t the most accurate marker ever…but is as accurate as the most accurate markers. It takes an aim to be accurate and the person will decide just how accurate the airow gun is. You must cock the airow gun before every shot, I tried to hold the cocker back and fire, the ball just exploded at the feed neck…so you have to cock every shot. I have shot 300 balls through it and haven’t broken one ball (except the holding the cocker back test). Consistent FPS rates are made by pulling the bow to the same place every time. I could get my shots within 2 FPS or 10fps off depending how constant my pulls were. I tried aiming down the barrel to fire and it was very accurate like that, I did buy fiber optic bow hunting sight and after dialing it in I used one pin for up to 75ft and a second pin for 90 to 120 ft. The bow sights work well and you can really dial in your shot, and as long as you fire correctly and your using a round ball and the wind doesn’t move the paintball it will hit true every time. I have never fired a real bow in my life and I could drop a ball in a 12” circle from 90ft nearly every time, as I got tired it made aiming harder. The stock barrel is very accurate. The airow gun is also dead quiet…I mean there is no marker there that is even close. From 10ft away it can’t be heard at all.

Game play is completely different than with a normal marker, I play limited ball with my pistol and pump all the time so I am very used to limited ball. This takes it to a new level, you have to cock each ball and then pull the bow string, aim then fire all while being fired at…it is a very different feel. You must also get your body behind the bow and not just poke your head around a tree and shoot, these are not negatives at all just my impressions of my first day of play. It takes me back to when I first started playing limited ball against fully auto guys and the rush of a single shot kill after 100 balls came flying by. I am sure as I get comfortable with the bow, I will be able to relax a little more just like going to my pistol.
Conclusion: Over all I give it a 10 out of 10 for construction, accuracy and cool factor. This is for you limited ball players who want to sneak up and take a shot and not be heard at all, or for long balling it will be accurate as you are from 120+ feet.
