Review:
The DYE Assult pack is a great pack.
DYE LOCKLIDS:
The DYE Locklids do fit, I don't see why everyone complains about them not fitting. The ejector straps are just really tight which makes them eject really nicely. Grow some muscles.
Also it is a very versitile pack. With so many pod configurations, it will work for short speedball games or long scenarios. It is also very light and comfy with full pods. The straps are rubber and very strog and easy to find.
The only weakness is the price. It runs at $75. If your new or intermediate this isn't the pack for. If your advanced and go to tournaments and practice, this will hold up and be your necessity on the field.
Conclusion:
For advanced players only. The cost is high for a reason. It's the best pack on the market that money can buy. DYE Locklids fit. I give it a 10 because it is by far the best pack on the market.
Sounds like after 5 years, you know what you're talking about so I got a couple of questions for ya...
1. What is the deal with the lock-lid pods not being able to fit?
2. My Dye Attack Pack is feeling a little weird on my back and I'm looking at this Assault pack if I can sell my Attack pack. Should I just replace the Old attack with a new one or should I upgrade(?) to an assault pack?
