Well i used this barrel for one full day and it dominates in the forest.
Its a little pricey compared to the original Apex barrel but well worth it. on my Alpha it looks more like an M16. Its got metal iron sight with adjustable aimer and the handguard is 1inch longer and made with durable plastic.
I found setting 4 to suit best which is like a flatline shot with no drop. I was able to hit people from alot farther away than they could hit me. But the forest we played in was dense with lots of ATV trails that were curvy. Once i cranked the barrel to level 8 turned it sideways down a curved trail and hooked a ball right into someones facemask!
I tried using 2 kinds of paint. JT tacticals which are horribly dimpled w/seams and garbage fill...they werent so accurate. then switched to a higher quality that just sailed the balls straight as an arrow.
Highly reccomend this barrel. im giving it a 10 and it does weight a bit more than normal barrels but its no big deal.
