Review:
First, I would like to say that all the TechT products are extremely well designed and well made. I have never had any problems with any of their products. I have played with their Ion and Tippmann upgrades and so far there have been no flaws at all with any of them.
Now, these detents just make the above stand out. The spring loaded design along with the extremely low resistance delrin makes these ball detents slide much more smoothly on the ball and on the bolt which translates into me being able to drop my dwell 1 ms. Switching from the stock detents to these gave me 2.5 more bps. That means a lot for how I play and for my air efficiency. I play airball. So I have to be able to move paint as fast as possible as well as be quick to react. It's why I look for the latest and greatest in paintball technology. So when I find something that is so simple as these ball detents and find that they work so well, I naturally get suspicious. Well the truth is that there is absolutely nothing wrong with these ball detents. They are extremely better than stock. They have outpaced all the other detents on the market.
Conclusion:
I have played since the first electronic markers hit the market. I have seen the shifts in technology. These ball detents are made by a company that is going to be part of the next shift. If you own an Ion, get these. You will not be sorry.
