Review: When it works, it's great. Mine, though it functions, does not work. If the macroline setup runs from the ASA to a horizontal elbow, then no problem. However if the reg has its gas port on the bottom (like the Detonator), you could be screwed.

The ASA's macroline port (phrasing?) is 1/2" below that of the reg's elbow, which will push something out of proportion if the macroline is tough/sturdy. If it's more flexible, then no problem.

Also, common sense tells you to tighten the screw (that holds it in place) a fair amount. Doing so, however, pushes the ASA down and damages the grooves that slide into each other. My Grenade is permanently angled down, with a gap of about 1/4" between the rail and macroline port.

Finally, don't expect to remove the macroline from the ASA. It has a solid grip which could be useful, but not in my case.
Conclusion: If you have flexible macroline (similar to the free 10" from, go ahead. If your macroline is stiff, don't use it with a bottom-port reg.
