Review: i owned this gun for about a year, and overall it was sub par for the guns ive used.
it shot nice and it was pretty light. the only problem was that it seemed to struggle
with consistency at times during ramping and it was an air hog.
for the price tag one could buy an Etek pretty easy, and put a star frame on it.
which personally i think would be a better buy. maybe not.
lol this IS an opinion page. sorry if i insulted.
Conclusion: Good gun, save up, buy a really high end gun.
youll be happier.

Wannabe DM? You are clueless. DM makes PM. Open up the two manuals. I own both a DM8 and a PM8. The differences are minimal. It is functionally the same marker with a slightly higher operating pressure (185 vice 145). Differences: spring detents vice magnetic, ribbon eyes (externally accessed) vice wired eyes, vertically mounted LPR (same model as DM) vice horizontally mounted, slightly different body style, stock barrel, thumb screw neck vice clamping feedneck. Exactly the same: solenoid, hyper3 reg(different grip but same reg), fuse bolt, stock board, UL frame, orings.

And...the PM doesn't have the stupid front on/off under the barrel which I replaced with a more comfortable constant flow. Yes, both are air hogs but I even get an extra pod from the PM due to the higher operating pressure.

If you are struggling with consistency, try adjusting regularly lubing your bolt, adjusting the lpr or (worst case) replacing the solenoid. I have noticed ZERO difference in consistency from my DM to the PM when I use the same matched barrel. Both throw darts.
