Price- picked mine up brand new for 30 bucks
Very, very easy to install
Weaknesses:
Pump Handle Rubs on most barrels
Pump Handle twists easy
Review:
Well for the price I guess you get what you pay for. Installing it was a breeze, took me about 10 minutes after I got my old pneumatics off. I was however very disappointed after it was installed. The pump handle rubs on barrels and isnt deep enough. I first tried with my freak kit. It has a SS back and I couldent even screw it in with this pump kit. I next tried my tear drop barrel, this time I could screw the barrel on but i could not pump the gun. I finially turned to my proto one piece barrel. This barrel worked fine with this pump kit and the kit actually didnt twist at all with the proto barrel and was surprisingly smoothe. The kit performed flawlessly with the proto barrel, but due to the limitations of barrel choice, I was unsatisfied and sold it. I personally like to use barrel kits when I am playing pump just to ensure the ball doesnt roll out the end of the barrel, I havent tried this product with any other barrel kits besides the freak with SS back so I cant say if they will work or not. I am currently using the Sanchez pump kit and I am very happy with it.
Conclusion:
Overall I would not recommend this kit just because of the barrel problem, I guess if you sanded out the handle so it could accept more barrels it would be worth buying, but in my opinion I would skip right over this and get the CCM economy kit if your looking for a cheap pump conversion kit. If you can find one of these used and dont mind modifying it a bit, grab it, otherwise stay away from this product. I am going to have to give this product a 4 based on the fact that it does work with the right barrel, but will need to be modified to work with most.
