I encountered two problems with the
When i first installed this kit and gased up my Ion, I could hear a small leak coming from the gun. I found out that the leak was coming from one of my internal hoses. The Ion Xe conversion kit must have different lengths from screw hole to screw hole because one of the hoses was contorted in a way that allowed air to escape. So i took my gun apart and cut the hose. sure enough this fixed the problem.
The other problem i encountered (after fixing the leak) was that the holes from the new breech and body kit did not match up with the holes on my stock trigger frame. I can not get the body kit attached to my trigger frame and therefore the entire kit is useless to me.
The Feedneck is another thing i had a problem with. The feedneck threads are no long on the breech, they are now attached to the body kit. This adds a small amount of height to the marker. When you add the thread converter to the equation, you get even more height to the marker. This is another drawback to this kit. |

| Conclusion: |
Maybe other people will have better luck than I did. Maybe I just got a defective part. Due to the fact that I could not even use the body kit I can not give it anything higher that a 2 and I'm only giving a 2 because it was a good try by Smart Parts. |
