Period of
Product Use:
Less than a month
2 years
Products Used:
None. Just the stock iron sights
Marker Setup: Tipman a-5 with response trigger, other wise stock. Spyder Pilot ACS with Fasta Hopper
Strengths: Intuitive and requires only a very short time to get used to it.
Weaknesses: A bit tricky to mount.
Review: Any one who tells you, "you can't aim a paintball", has never used one of these. I always "sprayed & prayed" while shooting fast and occasionally tried the iron sights for a snipe. I blamed a miss on this old theory.

First time using this site and I'm getting head shots on snap shooters at over 50 feet. I have never been able to keep both eyes open when using a scope or iron sights. With this it is no problem. The dot is plenty bright and I could see it clearly in bright sunlight. I had no problem dialing it in and it held on target all day.

The only problem I had was attaching it to the rail on my A-5 Tippmann. It fits tight on either rail, (upper 3/8" lower 5/8") but it is a bit clumsy to hold together till you tighten the screws.

As another review noted, we'll see how it holds up on a direct hit, which will be rare as it is tucked partiall under my hopper.
Conclusion: I won't ever play without a red dot sight and at $30.00 (Walmart) this is the one for my paintball needs. I'm going to get another for my 9mm pistol.
10 out of 10
