like many of you, I thought a tank cover is a tank cover. but no so.. i bought this tank cover about a week ago and only expexted it to be great like the other empire/invert products that I have ( which is everything i have).
now I bought the new 56 invert tank and only thought it would be correct to put a invert cover on it , so i did. I bought the 45 ci tank..
Now i can do math but.. after trying both 45 and 68 invert tank covers the 45 is what i went with(felt snug not loose like the 68) . .plus for some reason empire makes a new tank size with no proper tank cover...
1st problem in which this has nothing to do with the size of the tank am using... After only the first day of play I went back home and relized that the graphic's of the empire sign were rubbing off _from light play(no dives). This happened from just rubbing the tank on my arm durning play....
2nd problem) the tank cover had minor holes in it.. I sewed up two of the whole with just regular black thread and that was it. but then noticed one more small whole on the other side of the tank cover,, so more sewing.. and now my tank looks like edward sissor hand's face..
that might of been my fault for not buying a propper size (which they dont make, in the first place)
but thats no excuse.. the material that this cover is made with is similar to a thin(really thin) wet/dry suit for surfing..
3rd) i called impire and there is no warranty on this product..($20 down the drain)
I think any other 45 tank cover would work great on this 56 invert tank and fit.. just not this one..
its made bad and with cheap materal and offers no padding.. I think i would be better with a sports sock...
From being such a fan of impire/invert -am more then displeased with this tank cover and honesly disapointed with the company for coming out with such bad product.

Stay away.. if a impire tank you crave then go with the 09 zn series ones.. |
