OK, I will be short. I have tried a number of chest protections before buying this one. And the is the best as far as protection, ventilation/breathing and slick style.
Here is what I compare it with (high rating first)
The following vests (and not protective jerseys) are OK for kids or occasional users, but too heavy and sweaty for frequent use/high temps.

!! BUY ONE SIZE LARGER! Buy XLarge if you normally wear Large, Large if normally wear Medium, etc. They run one size smaller.
Weaknesses? hm... No neck protection? No waist protection? But this areas are normally covered with your harness and scarf/neck protector.

Conclusion:
All in all your overall choice depends on your budget. For $20-30 you can only get a vest. Investing $20-30 more will give you a quality jersey protector.
