This adapter works really well. It's well built and lines up your apex tip perfectly. If you already have a Palmers barrel, then you know quality. Why use a tape mod if you know that might sacrifice a tiny bit of accuracy?
While this item is a bit pricey, I'd say it's worth it. If you're like me, you use the Palmer Barrel with the Apex set to 0 (essentially, using the Palmer barrel without any Apex affect) over 90% of the time. For those times you want the long, straight shot, you need it to work. The Palmer adapter ensures that the Apex tip is lined up properly with the barrel.
As for adjustability, this thing couldn't be more simple. If you want it off, simple unscrew two finger screws (plastic but high quality) and it's off. Literally takes 3 seconds. Nice to have that flexibility. |

While pricey, it's worth it if you're setting up a nice marker. It is well built and very easy to install and use. |
