This is the only pump kit I've used. I'm sure it's about the same as others in its price range |

| Review: |
I bought this specific kit because i found it at a cheaper price than others (I believe i got it for $25-$30). I just wanted to try pump so this seemed perfect.
First impression is that the kit is well built. The pieces feel sturdy and durable. The handle is nice and comfortable with a simple, yet nice design. It's delrin so it has a smooth pump stroke with no lubing needed. It was an easy install as well. All in all it does what it's supposed to do.
For the bad... as stated the pump handle does rub against some of the larger barrels, BUT you can fix this by taking some fine grit sand paper and sanding down the indented area until it works for you. It doesn't damage the plastic aside from some slight lightening of the color (which you won't notice with a barrel on anyway, right?)
Oh, if you put a barrel on the gun there is no twisting when you pump. The barrel keeps it's straight so to me that's just nit picking. I've never had twist problem otherwise. |

| Conclusion: |
I'm happy with this kit. Aside from having to take some time to sand down the handle for larger barrels I can't really complain. However, unless you can get it for the price I did I'd maybe look into a different kit if having to sand something bothers you that much. I know CCM has a nice basic kit for around $45 (almost the retail for this kit apparently) and I would have probably gone with that one had I not found this one at a cheaper price. |
