Review: I have been using this barrel for a long time and i have to say i love it. I have no problems with it, and if i do get a break in the barrel( usually do to bad paint quality or shooting hot) I am able to shoot through the breaks and still get good accuracy. You could use any paint since you could size the paint with different size fins to get the best accuracy, however I only have the .688 fin and I shoot fine with all good paint. It is a little loud but if what hammerhead advertised is correct the reverse porting should redirect the sound oward the shoot making it quiet to the target (kinda like the barret 50 cal). I don't know if the reverse porting works or not because I haven't really paid attention to it or asked anyone.
Conclusion: I recommend this barrel to anyone who is willing to pay for it, it is one of the best barrels I have used. 9/10 for price and its a little loud.
Rating:
9 out of 10
