I was going to wait longer before I bought my GEO due to the fact it was new from PE and basically untested enmass. I had gone by my local shop early on who had a special on them and I could not pass up the deal and so I bought one. As we all know, pretty much all new markers go through some growing pains and it takes some months for the manufacturer to work out the bugs. PE was no exception here. The first run GEO's had some issues that were quickly addressed by PE with the GR-2 upgrade. Mine came with the upgrade already installed by the shop.
I have owned other PE products like the EGO and E-blades. PE is known for the quality of their products and the GEO is no exception. From the case, the manual, to the marker, this is a quality built product. Setting up the marker out of the box was simple and upon first use, I did not experience any problems. Using stock board settings, the marker shot fast and efficiency was good (5-6 pods and a loader on a 3800 fill from a 70/4500 tank). I have gotten 8 pods and a loader from a 4500 fill off a 68/4500 tank. From what I have read online, more efficiency can be obtained with some adjustments, but I haven't gone there yet.
I have used both rec-ball paint and tourney paint (Ultra Evil) and I have not chopped or broken a ball down the barrel yet. As for accuracy, it shots no better or worse than other high end markers. From my experience it comes down to matching your barrel to the paint and the quality of the paint used.
As for feel, I have owned both DM's/Proto's and Timmy's and EGO's. The GEO feels somewhere in between the two. Not as smooth as a Matrix, but smoother than an EGO.
The GEO is definitely easier to maintain than a Matrix with less orings to lube and go bad on you. That was one thing I hated about Matrix's. I lube the bolt before every outting I have have had no problems each time. No leaks or blown orings.
The board is fairly straight forward and I have not messed with it much. I played with the trigger adjustment some and that's it. The board will do pretty much whatever you want and I don't see a need to replace it.
I bought matching backs to complete the barrel kit. However, my marker is Lagoon (brown) and the anodizing was not quite the same shade, so be careful if you buy these barrel backs thinking they will match the original barrel. The PE barrels shoot just fine, but I already have an Ultralite kit I use.

| Conclusion: |
I love this marker! It's light, shoots fast, is efficient (for a spool), reliable and it's beautifully built. PE did a great job with their first spool. I look forward to next year's version. |
