I originally bought this product for my Tippmann when i first started paintballing, it seemed to keep the bolt in good working order. Its viscosity isn't thin, but it is not thick either. That would be the only weakness to mention, i do not know how long it actually stays where you put it due to its viscosity. When i bought my ion about a year ago, it seemed to lubricate that well also, although i would recommend owning some sort of grease also for some parts if you own a higher end gun.
Conclusion:
I would recommend this over other liquid lubricants, but you definiatly need a grease of some sort too.
