Light
Simpleness
Trigger pull
Vintageness
Cheap (mine for $30)
Weaknesses:
efficiency (debatable, 1 canister per 2-3 tubes)
CO2 leaks unless USED PROPERLY
Review:
Mediam stuff:
range
accuracey (to about 20 yards)
action (not too hard in my opinion)
I originally bought this marker as a conversation starter, side arm, and a challenge for when my ego got too high. I wasn't impressed, except in velocity. Some of the more pessimistic reviews stated that the marker would loss all of it's power in a couple shots. Mabey the one I aquired has a stronger spring or was worked on before, because there are no such problems. However, screwing the CO2 in effectively is an accomplishment in itself. As other reviews are going to say and have said, the CO2 cannot be tightened too far or too short too short. One review before that said to screw in the cartredge 1/2 turn after the seal breaks, which worked well for me.
Conclusion:
Overall, it is one of the oldest markers and cannot have much expected from it. It looks cool, shoots strieght, and works which is about all one can expect from a Splatmaster. Despite it's faults, I'll give this marker a 9.
