| Review: |
I had the Tadao Yakuza board in my Karnivor since they first came out.
The battery connector fell off my first board, but I was able to solder it back on pretty easily. The board works great with no issues. Battery life is excellent and my karnivor now shoots faster than most Egos. OLED display is also excellent, easy to read in any light.
I bought a second board when the USB version came out for my DC1. From the get go, I new something was wrong, but I didn't get to use it in anger for about 6 weeks. When I did, my fears were confirmed - the sear solonoid did not fire properly. This resulted in double feeds and barrel breaks. I would say that about 25% of all the shots I fired , the sear did not release.
HOWEVER, I contacted Cookie at Tadao and he was great. Will (the president of the comapany) e-mailed me straight back (within an hour) and helped me out. First we tried to fix it in the settings, but that didn't work, so he suggested I RMA it back to Tadao. Since I'm in the UK, that cost me a few $$$ in shipping, but as soon as it got there, Will contacted me and told me what was wrong. He repaired the board , tested it and sent it straight back to me. It took about 2 weeks in shipping and a day for the repair.
Now I have it back it's all good.
Having such great customer service saved the day for this product.
Performance of the new board is great. Unfortunately the settings side has been simplified, which in my opinion isn't great, since the original version had more customisation possibilities, but at least it will be simpler to set up for the less experienced.

| Conclusion: |
Definitely recommended. Great customer service makes up for some quality concerns.
I took away 1 point for the product defects and another since I had to pay the RMA shipping both ways. |
