great functional pants. i picked them up from ANSgear on sale for 65$ regular 87$ i believe. just wow. the nearest thing to these in my opinion would be something like the new empire pants or the Dye C10 pants, and those both retail for well over 100$
the pants themselves are fantastic they have mostly all the padding you want in a pant except it did hurt when i got shot right in the tip of my man parts, but its paintball whatcha gonna do about it. the one feature i am more happy with than any other is definitely the knee pads. while your standing straight (presuming your wearing them properly and not half way down your legs or at your chin) the pads cover your entire shin area protecting them from all manner of injuries and almost doing away with the need for shin pads (if you use that kind of thing) and the second you bend your knees they rise to cover your entire knee, makes it very easy to kneel and slide from place to place. the design speaks for itself, i myself wear the red skulls to match my jersey and tank cover. the bottoms have the usual bungee pull to make sure your not getting your pants (or PJs in my case) dirty while sliding around in the paint/dirt. and i have yet to have any complaints about comfort shy of them being a tad uncomfortable to go commando in because of all the seams left on the inside. i plan on picking up the matching pod pack soon.
Conclusion:
amazing pants, probably the best bang for your buck on the market right now, but that's also just my opinion. i think the entire 2010 Valken line is incredible. Valken has found a solid dedicated customer in me. and i guarantee you that that is a very hard feat too accomplish. but don't take my word for it, at the price these are going for right now go pick a pair up and try them yourself before Valken realises how much more they should be charging for them
