Easy firepower upgrade
Weather and terrain friendly
Batteries last forever
Weaknesses:
Programming is clunky
Review:
I bought this for my A-5 looking for a quick upgrade. Its easy to install, 2 pins and ASA connection. When you take it out of the box, it feels flimsy and not well made, but when on the marker it tightens up. It feels different than the stock grip, because its thinner and doesn't have molded grip. The trigger and selector switch is magnetic, extending the life of the assembly. The electronics are durable, I play in Florida and have taken it apart and could have built sandcastles with the sand that was inside the grip. This is due to the holes for the programming/on-off button and LED. I've played in the rain and it didn't fry the board, but I taped the holes. Programming takes some getting used to, but that's nitpicky, since it works great out of the box. The firing modes are solid, however it does not go to the advertised 20+ bps, it is capped at 15. Battery life is not the greatest, probably about 5ish hours, depending on how your dwell is set and BPS and so forth.
Conclusion:
I would get this if you are looking for an easy upgrade to firepower. Good quality and variety of options. Its getting a 9 because the programming system could be better managed, and the holes ask for trouble if you aren't careful. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
