Review: I've been using this gun for about 41/2 months and it is, in my opinion, the best paintball gun out there for beginners. It's my first and only Paintball gun. I've shot about 4600 rounds through it and only broke 3 balls (my velocity was at 350fps and i was using bad paint).

Ease of maintenance
Split Receiver

2 Piece Grips
Clamshell design
Heavy Trigger Pull
Mechanical (unless it has the E-Grip installed)
Cocking handle hurts when it rubs your finger

I've played with this gun 4 times so far and it's amazing, i went up against an Phenom and an Ion and came out on top. I shot 1 guy out on my first paintball game, i was using the 98.
With out the front grip, i held on to the gas line last time i played and did surprisingly good.

If you're thinking about getting this gun:
You should buy the gun and equipment from your local proshop, not walmart or online. This gun is amazing for the price, it can shoot fast (if you have strong fingers) and is fairly accurate with the stock barrel. the packaging isn't to good and you need to take it to a chronograph as soon as possible. DO NOT take the gun apart if it is not broken or you haven't read the manual.

this gun is perfect for a rec baller or woods baller, it has so many upgrades and is very versatile, you can go from a sniper to a front guy to a gunner in the woods. indoors you can stay back or push up, shoot cross the field or go pointblank.

How i got the gun:
For about a year i did my research into paintball and the equipment and finally i saved up enough to get it.
Conclusion: Get this gun if you're getting a kid into paintball, starting paintball or just something to fool around with. You can bury it and soak it and it'll still fire, it's the ak47 of paintball. you can later get upgrades for it and custom mod it to like like anything you want but it will still be that simple, reliable, and awesome to gun on the inside. If your thinking of an Alpha Black/Bravo One they are the same gun internally. now that you have this much more knowledge go out and get the gun or talk to the guy at your proshop about it. ask him/her if there's something better you can go for, if you should get this gun and other similar questions. i'd give it 15.5 out of 20, or the obvious 7/10. hope this helps
7 out of 10
