Review:
I got this gun used in rough shape for an extremely good price and is the greatest gun I've ever had. It NEVER chops with that fabulous cyclone feed system and even though it has a single mechanical trigger, I can really pump out the ROF. The fast rate isn't even necessary, though, because it is so accurate you can take anyone out in one shot. I use a 16" ACI barrel on mine and it is DEATHLY accurate. I've actually gone up against ions, angels, and other nice electric guns and whooped them all with my accuracy and consistency. I have never had a problem with it and only broken ONE ball out of the 4000 I've shot out of it.
Conclusion:
It's one of the most amazing airguns ever devised by humankind. Go get one. It will never fail you.
While I don't disagree with your review, You say you have only been playing paintball for 6 months and have used at least 10 paintball guns. Average that out and you have only used the a5 on one or two outings (at the time this review was written.) 4000 paintballs is nothing.
1) As far as accuracy goes - I use a 16"JJ and I agree, It is wicked accurate. HOWEVER - my invert mini will put paintballs on top of each other at 100 feet. The a-5 has a violent firing action that shakes the barrel. Because of this action, an a5, while accurate enough to peg someone at 100 feet, can not - not EVER - put paintballs on top of each other like an Invert Mini. Never. There is accurate, and then there is ACCURATE.
2) You will have problems with this gun at some point, I guarantee. The good thing about this gun is that it is as prolific as an Ak. Parts for it are all over the place, it's just a matter of finding the one part you need.
