Picky about the ends of some macroline

Review:
I got an AutoCocker at my local Goodwill and figured it would be a good project gun. I got it home and test fired it without a hitch, but after a few times playing there were some problems. A mysterious leak plauged my air system and the timing was really messed up. The timing was easy to adjust, but I couldn't figure out what was leaking. I knew nothing about macroline because I'd worked with braided steel hose before, so when the fitting started leaking I figured I would need to buy a new one, but after some google-ing, I learned that you could disconnect the macroline and adjust it. So, after I messed with the distance between the fitting and the line, I eliminated the leak. I have had no problems since and look forward to being able to support this company more!
The construction is, in climbing terms, "bombproof," and the holding power is amazing. The good thing about this is it's not easily fouled by CO2, and is easy to use.
Conclusion:
The pluses and minuses pretty much balence out. The good is that it is robust and has great holding power. The bad is that it is picky about endings and cuts, and the collars are a but difficult to move. I'll give it a 7.
