Review: First I would like to add that my experience with the first Empire Apex Barrel system was not a positive one. I actually only used it once and I completely destroyed the rubber insert because, quite frankly, I am an idiot. I took and gamble and purchased the Apex 2 Barrel System and here is how I feel about it:

#1 - The new sleek, low-profile look is great if your looking to add that authentic, real look to your paintball marker.

#2 - I know now that the rubber insert located in the barrel tip is very sensative to rubber squeegies. So, from my past experience with the first Apex Barrel, I know now to use a cloth or micro-fiber squeegie in place of the rubber one.

#3 - The barrel's accuracy is well above average. I easily shoot 100 feet with no problems hitting my target. The barrel does have the accuracy to hit objects up to 200 feet, but the chances of being it breaking are slim to none. I would give it a max accurate range of about 125 feet; which for me is perfect (I'm a run and gun kind of player).

#4 - I like to have a 12" barrel. So I was a bit disappointed when I found out the barrel only came in 14" and 18". After using it a couple times, I have got use to the length.

#5 - JUST BE CAREFUL OF THE RUBBER INSERT. Again, from my experience, I have easily damaged the rubber insert in the barrel tip using a rubber squeegee. So, again, I urge all owners of this barrel to use only CLOTH or MICRO-FIBER Sqeegies.

***Overall, a great barrel to own - 9/10***
Conclusion: I recommend this barrel for anyone looking to improve their paintball guns accuracy. Also if you like to shoot around, down and under things, this is a must have paintball barrel. The only real issue I have with this barrel is the rubber insert in the tip of the barrel; it is easily damaged if you do not use the right squeegie (NO RUBBER squeegie, use cloth or micro-fiber). Also, I a bit disappointed there isn't a shorter barrel available (say 12"). Overall, this is a great barrel and again I recommend this to anyone looking to improve there marker.
