We have shot each other with these balls, watched the Videos, and tried our hardest to make these a viable option.
The trajectory does exactly what the previous post says.
They do hurt.
They do leave a waxy film.
They do however store well.
Yes, I might be a little scared to get shot by these balls, but it is within reason. My friend volunteered to be shot, and he was hit on the top of his head, the one area not protected by his mask. He just about broke down into tears because it hurt so bad. This shot was in the 50 foot range.
Conclusion:
Our current conclusion is to not use these balls, but I am wondering if changing the Chrono on them might help. We dialed a Tippmann 98 down to 180, and they seemed to not hurt as much, and shot a little straighter. I am wondering if I get the FPS lower, that I might get better results. Has anyone else tried this?
