| Review: |
I just got this barrel today and I think it's great! I shot a hopper through it and it's abilities are amazing! If you are thinking about getting this barrel, go ahead and get it, this is no gimmic, it really can curve those paintballs; and to think I almost got a J&J! I did have about 5 breaks on the rubber pad, but I'm using old paint stored in my gun, so that's probably why. I also noticed that there are scratches and a small dent on the rubber pad but they don't mess up performance so I'm not worrying about it. I am going to monitor that and edit this if it becomes a problem though.
I was expecting the curve to help a little, but on level 9 I saw the paintball spin around the corner of my house from the front yard and hit a target in the middle of my backyard. The flatline feature (level 4-6) seems extremely helpful too. the line of fire really is extremely flat, no more worrying about aiming higher or lower. I was hitting the tergets I set up over and over again from different ranges. Although it is tough to aim (I'm getting used to it), I did land a bunch on the top of the bunker by turning the Apex tip upside down.
IMPORTANT:
If your barrel keeps unscrewing from your marker (like my a5), you can stretch an oring (I used a black tank oring) over the end of your barrel where the threads are. That way when you screw it in the oring squezes in between the barrel and your gun, it completely solved that problem for me! |

| Conclusion: |
for $45 it's worth it, it;s more accurate than the tippmann A5 stock barrel. It really works and looks cool, and is much more durable than the original Apex barrel. I'd choose it over a J&J any day! (My brother has a J&J Ceramic barrel so I do know what I'm comparing this to) |
