Upgrades:
Don't waste money on upgrades... Or the gun.
Strengths: Auto trigger comes stock ( because it's Nelson based)
Air efficient
small
Weaknesses: Everything about the gun that is not listed above is a disadvantage. Please read below.
Review: The Phantom hasn't changed in over 20 years.... Not because it's perfect, because it's a design that they don't want to improve so they can say "its original!!!" . Where as WGP has constantly made improvements, and is why they are worth so much more and much better then phantoms. But anyway, the review of the gun... You think it would be cool to have one, and be that guy who uses 100 shots a day.... well the problem is that guy is 40 years old and is being senile in the way that he can't admit anything is better then what was made in his day. This would be like someone keeping an original Ipod all these years, saying "it's the best" when they've been too stubborn all these years to admit anything is better. Or the player who uses the phantomis overweight and uses the excuse that they are playing stockclass as the reason they always get out. and the reason they are even there is because they need somthing to do on the weekend because they can't work on cars or golf and really really really badly want to feel young again. This gun is not accurate, I don't know why people think that. There are many guns that shoot better, and more consistently. I'm not a stock class fan at all. Having a gun without a tank is annoying because you can't aim it, and if you put a stock on you can aim, but you can't maneuver.
Conclusion: DO not ever buy a phantom, It's like commiting Social and Economic suicide because you will be humiliated when you don't get what you were expecting from it and because you will be kicking your self when you can't sell it. If you want a phantom, spend half the price and get a PGP. They are more fun, more accurate, and you will have the same experience at half the price. ( that experience is that Stock Class isn't very fun all together.)
