Review: I have tried the original Apex barrel and it was good. I just bought the Apex 2 this weekend and tried it.. Man it is great for my X7 Phenom. I set my gun at full auto and the balls were always on point. I still have to try the curve shots, but as long as my shots are straight and I can hit people from afar, that what matters to me.

I had the flatline, but it was super picky with paint. And it took forever to try and hone the shots right. I was frustrated and I sold the flatline. With the money I got from the sale, I bought the Apex 2. If I would have known it, I would have just bought the Apex 2 in the first place and saved $30.
Conclusion: Look... if you want to save some money and still have the same, if not, better capabilities than the Flatline barrel, get the Apex 2. If you don't mind paying extra and get frustrated trying to set your gun... get a Flatline. Overall, the Apex 2 is a great buy and a great add on for my X7. I believe many of you will agree with me.
