ok, here is an update. Broke the trigger microswitch this weekend. Called tippmann and they said they will either refund the money or exchange the sear kit for the ebolt kit. They now say the ebolt kit will work with the lp kit. I like the model 98 so I will go with the ebolt kit.
Weaknesses:
sear tripper kit is hard to install. I have played with it for three weekends and it has broke each weekend.
Conclusion:
If you want an electronic model 98 go with the ebolt system. It is supposed to work with or without the lp kit
