Strengths:
Less paint breakage compared with Teardrop , AA and CP
Very easy to dry fire to clean up paint breakes in the barrel - only 3-4 shots that all.
Good accuracy and range
Weaknesses:
Weight is heavy
Must polish the brass more frequently to keep it shiny
Conclusion:
Very good for the price $50. The big deal is , all PPS barrels were made by custom order. You can specify the ID bore to suite your needs. My Brass is 0.692 and 12" lenght.
Dispute: The reason the barrel isn't phenomenal is because you got a .692 id bore. That bore is gigantic, there is really no paint that is that size. Even a Palmer's can't give you the best accuracy with that id bore...
Dispute: This is 100% USER ERROR and this review in NO WAY reflects the performance and quality of the PPS brass barrels. It should be edited or deleted, it only serves to drag the overall score down for this barrel and propagated misinformation.
He didn't give it a 10.
He also didn't say anything inflamatory about this barell.
There is nothing in this review that warrants a dispute.
If the spiral porting is so awsome and can deal with any bore size paint then why does this barrel come in different bores?
By your own words MisterMister the spiral honing makes the barrel as good as any multi bore kit.
So by that logic the actual bore of the brass barrel shoudl be irrelevant, right?

hmm... PPS does an elliptical honing to match with the paintball expanding under pressure. also, porting has nothing to do with paint matching. the bore of the barrel has EVERYTHING to do with how well paint shoots out of it, which is why PPS has the barrel available in more than one bore size.
