pretty decent price alot cheaper than my sandridge bolt($60) heard its better than the supaslicks, I didnt find any advantage over my stock bolt. I had to sand it down quite a bit but I used a lathe and got it really even so it now has a good fit after alot of work
Weaknesses:
*too short
*not even nylon not even close to delrin, more like cheap plastic.
*terrible quality control my air passage wasn't even completely cut through
*Took over 2 months to get it and never heard from Sam during that time
*no improvement over stock bolt
*breaks more balls
*not even close to the quality of my sandridge bolt
*no improvement in air effeciency
*I once used a supaslicks open face bolt and found it much better than this one much less drag than the vapor
*Not worth your money, buy a different bolt keep your stock bolt and save some money
*My bolt pin didn't fit through the whole
*difficult to field strip to run a squeegee through my cocker is easy to pull the bolt and run a squeege through the body and barrel
Conclusion:
Alright this got removed once so i updated it now that i have the bolt so dont get rid of it even though i gave it a bad review like last time. I have had an awful time w/vapor and this bolt. Thats probably why i didn't even try to get their valve. I give this so low cause the product isn't very good and the service is awful. It desaerves a 3 cause its not awfull but its pretty close, all other bolts are better.
sounds like this guy got it for the wrong reasons. if you had to sand it down, there's a problem right there. its made larger for the bodies ICD made too wide. This is NOT a bolt to get just because you feel you need a different bolt. its made to eliminate the blowback caused by the smaller bolt in the wider hole, something ICD might want to fix. you shouldnt have to sand it down, or else if you do, IT'S NOT FOR YOUR GUN.
also, vaporworks customer cervice is god awful if you try to E MAIL THEM. if you CALL, they will help you right away.
when you say no better air effeciency, that kinda gives it away for me. It is pretty much the stock bolt with o rings. if you dont get better air, that means you dont need it. all it is supposed to do is prevent air from flowing out the back of your gun, when it should go out the front with the ball. thus the o rings.
sorry if this seems like an attack, just makes me mad to see reviews bring down the rating of a nice product.
