I have used everything from a backwards baseball hat, bandannas, sock hats, and thick beanies. I shave my head slick so paintball hits to the head are very painful and leave very noticeable bruises on my dome. |

This product is by far the best head protection on the market. I was suspicious of the foam and how effective it would be but after taking three head shots and one neck shot I was convinced. You still felt the hit but there was very little pain and not one bruise! I like how the hood looks and I got a lot of questions about it on the field. It is a very simple design and yet very effective. |

I don't really have that much bad to say about this hood. It is a little expensive and I did get hot during the middle of the day but the payoff of not having to go to work on Monday with bruises all over my head and neck was well worth it! |

I would definitely recommend this product to all styles of players. It is comfortable, it looks cool and it definitely protects the head and neck. When I got the hood in the mail I looked at it and I thought, "Now why didn't I think of that?" The hood is so simple and yet so effective it is amazing that it took twenty years of paintball playing to come up with the idea. I wish I had the patent rights to this product. I would be playing a heck of a lot more paintball! |
