I bought my TL PLus on eBay for $85, and when it arrived it had this Mako frame on it. I was a bit skeptical at first, but then I ran some paint through it and became a true believer! This frame makes a Spyder the hottest gun on the field! And when it stopped working, I was able to send it back to the manufacturer, and they replaced the board free under warranty. I had it back in about 6 days, and it has been flawless ever since. The trigger pull is non-existent, the rate of fire is incredible, and it can be programmed to shoot as fast (or slow), and as many times as you want, with a single trigger pull. Since I have had this marker/frame setup, I have marked more people, more times, and further away, then ever before. I set mine for a 3 round burst at 6bps, and the third ball hits the splatter from the first one at 50 yards. This is the best upgrade EVER for the Spyder!
Weaknesses:
The cheap plastic grips are...well,....cheap. And I would suggest finding a way to mount the battery externally, as I did. Makes battery changes a lot easier. And I usually carry a spare charged NiMH 9 volt in my pocket just in case...
Conclusion:
If you want to turn you Kingman into an electro marker that will rule the field without costing $1,000, then you must buy this frame. It will turn your Spyder into an instument of Paintball Death! And even though the grips are not good, this frame is worth every penny that you spend for it! And, after all, isn't it always fun to see the other guy wearing your paint?
