Tippmann rentals obviously cruddy
-crap barrel
-double, even triple feed possible
-shoot slow
Marker Setup:
-Green to Black fade 2003 Core Sharc
-200 round PMI hopper
-Clear PMI elbow
-12 oz tank
-ACI Combo barrel
-DYE metal trigger frame
-DYE black sticky grip
-Spider trigger frame
Recommended Upgrades:
-metal trigger frame
-new grip
-new barrel (as with any gun)
-sights are worthless, don't get one
Strengths:
-the price is cheap
-looks very cool
-perfect for beginners and intermediate players
-a slanted feed (I hate vertical feeds)
-a pretty good stock barrel
-a fairly nice air efficient expansion chamber
-better and less expensive than most Spiders
-easy to disassemble and clean
-very light (especially with a 12 ounce tank)
Weaknesses:
-there are a lot of O-rings which only means more care
-some of the O-rings are small and I have no idea where to get them, but I have enever had a problem with them
-the O-rings between my fore-grip (expansion chamber) and my gun, It took some time but I found that if you double up a normal O-ring it works fine.
-the spring that it comes with it very tight, you may need to come a few pieces of the spring
-not much else, it is really a great gun
Conclusion:
The o ring stuff about this gun is not a big deal, it really is very worth the money. The bad parts i explained are nothing. This gun is cheap, looks awsome, and is much better than most Spyders. You can upgrade ANY part of your gun with Spyder parts, so upgrading is not a big deal at all. This is a great gun, and I am going to continue using it for a long time.
