Black Knight (not any more) Biggest POS on the market
Recommended Upgrades:
Throw it out and buy a spider, they are cheap Ill give them that but they are built that way as well. There were no upgrades
Strengths:
Only 1 good thing to say about it, its cheap, that is it.
Weaknesses:
I got mine played with it 3 times and cracked the frame, I sent it off to get fixed and about 2 month later got it back with a new housing. I played with it 1 more time and the cocking rod broke off. I took mine back to where I had bought it and the owner informed me that he had sold 5 and 3 had come back to him and the company wouldnt help him out, he lost money on the whole deal. He did however offer to take it back with a 50%% refund, and a sale price on a spyder compact(which by the way had just come on the market). That was a great gun at a great price.
Conclusion:
Dont waste your time or money just spend an extra $20 and get a spyder or equivalent . Customer service sucked and they hardly spoke english, which made it harder. The bottomline is this is a toy company that tried there hand at paint markers and failed miserably.
I've never heard of a "(pre BE)" Stingray. As far as I know they were always made by Brass Eagle. Do you mean a Stingray I (long barrel wit plastic shroud) rather than the short barreled Stingray II?
