You need good paint with a 16" barrell, otherwise they'll bust from so much velocity. I'd go with Nelson Anarchy or some of the JT Elite Premium.
Strengths:
-MUCH better range than stock barrells.
-MUCH better accuracy.
-Quietest barrell I've ever heard.
-Are made for pretty much *all* types of guns & threading.
-Durable.
-Has rifling.
Weaknesses:
-Rather expensive.
-Comes in only one color.
Conclusion:
Very good barrell. I use one on my 98 Custom, which inspired my friend to buy one for his Black Dragon LCD. The rifling, contrary to popular belief, *does* work. It doesn't give you more range, as one might think, but it does increase your accuracy quite a bit. I'm giving this a 9 because costs about $70 bucks, more/less.
It is impossible to spin a paintball and make a difference in anything. This is so for this simple reason you can only spin the shell not the fill. The fill will slow the spin and eliminate any purpose of the spin.

this statement is completely wrong, when you spin the shell the fill starts to spin also
IF the paint fill was water, then it would NOT spin with the shell, BUT the paint fill is MUCH thicker than water, almost a syrup so it does spin. AND the ONLY barrel proven to EXTREMLY increase your range is the flatline, and the farther that goes, the slower the ball moves, so that reduces the chance of getting a break. so shut up.
i have this barrle and with my marbs i can see the shell spin fast till it hits ground. you just dont know what your talken about. it adds accurcy and less side movement
