Strengths: The design, weight, and feel of this marker are very similar to the Bushmater B2K0. It is constructed very sturdy. The double detent is good for keeping the ball centered befor firing. The detents are also swappable with Autococker detents. It is very easy to clean, you pull the cocking pin, remove the bolt, and pull a squeege through the body and barrel. The o-rings in the feed tube hold my revolution in place nicely.
Weaknesses: First off the body seems to be more of a blued color as you would find on a shotgun or hunting rifle and not a nice dark gloss black as appears on the web site. The metal also appears not to have been completely polished before anodizing, it looks as though steel wool were taken to it just prior to finishing. The detent caps appear to be painted and not anodized, one has already flaked and is showing small hints of bare metal. All other components attached to the body have uniform color and match, but the finish is flat black instead of gloss black. The barrel is a large bore, .695, allowing just about any ball to fall straight through and rattle down the barrel when fired.
Conclusion: Very well made and sturdy, ready for just about any type of field. My rating would be better if the finish were nicer and the barrel was closer to a standard size.
Rating:
9 out of 10
