ANS quickfire frame (much better)
Marker Setup: Custom Built Shocktech Autococker
Custom Rainmaker (work in progress, best gun ever!)
Strengths: Looks/feels great in hand, better than stock frame
Weaknesses: Set screws
Review: I have the chrome frame and i like how it feels in my hand and it makes my gun look really good. The only real problem with this frame is the set screws. I think Shocktech put one in place where it wasn't the best for trigger plate adjustment. The one closer to the front should have been further forward to limit trigger pull and keep the trigger straight from back to front. Instead it's in the middle of the trigger and the second is in the back which makes the trigger have a tendency to lean downward when you pull it unless you screw them up almost all the way. Because of that I've had problems with making my trigger pull smooth and keeping it straight since it has to be held tight enough against the cocker body. I've loctited the screws and it's kept most of the play in the trigger pull to a minimum, but having to locktite screws is something I only do in the most dire of cicumstances (makes fine tuning hard to do).
Conclusion: It's one of the better looking single frames, but now I wish i had saved a little more for a hinge trigger or maybe even just a better single trigger frame. I've used the ANS quickfire frame (which i hear is the same as the Benchmark one) and it's very very nice compared to this one. Maybe it's just me, but i suggest checking one out before you purchase.
