This adapter does what it's supposed to. You can fit multiple barrel types on you gun(s) without having to buy extra barrels for each gun. It's biggest weakness is the small ID, IMHO. It's not very long (2" or so) so there is some concern about an increased potential for ball breakage and not having an "optimal" control bore length. Because of the small ID if these inserts, they'll work better with small balls than large. Probably should stay away from these if you're using old or very fragile balls, large caliber balls or playing in extremely cold weather. I have enough barrels for each of my guns so I don't need these for playing. I primarily use it with a Cobra barrel muffler whenever I want to test my guns at home. |

Cheap alternative to buying a different barrel because you have a different gun or just want a smaller bore size. The overall effect on accuracy and incidence of ball breakage is not clear although it should be minimal if the appropriate ball/barrel size is selected. |
