I first used this product when my friend bought it, I would critisize him before he bought it saying, THAT,......THAT IS THE UGLYEST BARREL I'VE EVER SEEN(i was an imature paint ball player then,like that matterd)Or, LOOK AT ALL THE HOLES IT PROBLY IS HARD TO CLEAN.Or WHY BUY THAT WHEN YOU COULD GET THE SP TEAR DROP OR JJ CERAMIC. So about 3 months ago he finely bought it and i was proved wrong again!!! (thats another story for another another time) I also fell in love with it, and bought it. Feel good story of the year, hu. :)
Conclusion:
Best decision I ever made. I surley recomrnd it. for all sorts of players torney to rec. players.

I see. It appears to me that you are still immature, whether or not you are anyy good at paintball is another story. "Ooh, look at that barrel, its ugly, dont get that thing!". Who cares? Man, you ghetto.
wow....ummm this is like a year and a half after i wrote this, first i have looked at it since......im sorry for writeing this, heh....man was i a nub.......
barrels can increase range in two ways:
1.put backspin which you stated earlier
2.reduce turbulance going through th barrel. Porting decreases turbulance the ball goes through in the barrel, therefore increasing range and accuracy, that is why barrels are ported
Well isn't alot of speedball based on looks? Kinda like a car, you pimp it out to look good? then again i may just be niave becuase i onkly play woodsball. Btw, 300 fps is 300 fps, not mater what barrel (except for the apex or the flatline) will be pretty much the same difference. I can't tell you how many people have been flamed over belive the propaganda of greater range from companies...
