i tested this barrel on an a-5 and it was quiet, but not REALLY quiet....maybe its because the a-5 sounds like a cannon with the stock barrel...this barrel is KINDA accurate. not as accurate as an armson stealth or a taso winforce but its decent. it kinda looks cool the way it gets bigger on the end and all the holes in it...for 30 bucks its really decent. get it if you really need it but this is made for sniping and if your any good of a shot then you can have the loudest gun in the world and take out a million people with it.
Conclusion:
not the best barrel on the market but for 30 dollars its well worth it.

it's not supposed to be quiet behind the gun. if your infront of the gun as if you were being fired upon, it is quiet. i used it and i'm a sniper and it's accurate and very quiet.
exactly matt 13, you could put a TOP LINE barrel on ANY gun out there and STILL hear it from BEHIND the gun-- but if you play a game or so with all your friends, you will be INVINCIBLE!!
I mostly agree with this review. He noted a key point (the accuracy) that nobody else seems to have noticed. I bought this in 14" for my A-5, and it was considerably quieter than my preferred boomstick. However, it didn't much make any difference for "sniping", because of the lack of accuracy. If you're paying $30 for this, you're getting $30 accuracy. You can be as quiet as a shadow but if you're unable to mark your opponent from any notable distance you will not be the most effective "sniper" out there, by a long shot (ha ha). If you're looking to camp out under cover and dishonourably defeat your opponents by way of ambush, you might get away with this one. But, if you truly are a marksman you will be quickly disappointed by this barrel's accuracy.
