Strengths: Makes for faster rof
Weaknesses: below
Review: They claim that having this hinge makes it harder to short stroke. I short stroked ALOT less with my slide then with this. Thats ok though because the more I use this the less I short stroke. My only point in mentioning it is that wgp says otherwise. I guess if it was anyone else but Budd Orr I wouldnt even mention it.

As far as others mentioning it is less adjustable, guess I have the latest version, and you cant get shorter. I took it to my local shop where the guy is like a cocker guru and he said it may be to short. Hey mabey that is why I am still short stroking. Oh well, I will get used to it.

Oh and the readjusting & retiming after the upgrade...If you wanted something simple to upgrade then a cocker was the wrong choice. Sure there are no other markers with more upgrades, but that doesnt mean its easy to do. My 98 you set the velocity and then you play. No timing or anything. But you also leave behind all your accuracy. Fair trade I think.
Conclusion: I am considering selling this on ebay & getting a system x, dye, or ans hinge. Not that this is not sweet, just that it was sold to me as being chrome, and its nickel. No big deal until you stick it on a chrome Cocker. I live by the theory that looks are 80% of the game. If I intimidate you I might as well have already won. An all chrome gun intimidates, a mismatched gun is less intimidating. Now the system X chrome with a huge X beavertail, that will work. If it works as well or better than wgp hinge, & mr guru says it is, then why not?

If color doesnt matter, and for most it dont, then would you like to buy a hinge from wgp? It really is worth the $. I am just picky.
