Review: I bought a Minimag used w/ 4 stars and 16" CP Barrel for 167$. Some of best money I ever spent.

Compact:
Gun is SOOOO small. Gun with the 8inch stock barrel is same length as a 98c without barrel. Add a warp and Psycho Ballistics drop you will have a heavy but TINY gun. More compact than an Autococker, and as far as I know the most compact the make period.

Durability:
The whole gun is made out of SS. It is extrememly easy to Field Strip, and once you take it apart, there is the body, trigger frame, valve, and thats it. So far I have had no problems w/ leaks or anything, and I don't think I ever will.

AGD:
THE best paintball gun company out there. There isn't one low quality product they make.Every gun they make has a STAR warranty. MInimag's have 4 which means I can send the gun to Airgun Design 4 times and they will fix it for free. If there ever is a problem it is probably a O-Ring, which they wil send to your house for free. I am pretty sure that all AIR Valve's have 4 stars, but I am not sure. Best warranty they make on a paintball gun.

Consistency:
The A.I.R is one of the best regulators out there. Almost every shot is one on top of each other. It is about +/- 2fps the whole day if you use Nitro.

Accuracy:
This is basically what paint and barrel you have. But stock the gun still has great accuracy, even though the stock barrel is pretty big. Even though all of those tests that show that open bolt vs closed bolt doesn't matter. For some reason I feel like a cocker is more accurate than a blow-forward mag.

Noise:
This gun is EXTREMELY quiet. Even with the stock barrel with no porting its still a TON quieter than my TL+ w/ CP barrel. It makes this little ching noise during the shot but it doesn't really bother me. I would say its 1/3 of a Spyder's noise and they operate at about the same pressure.

Comfort:
The AGD rubber grips on the MInimag is by far the best grips I've ever felt. Twice as good as Dye Stickies. The gun fits your hands perfectly.

Weight:
Since the gun is made out of pure Stainless Steel, it is heavy. Never mind with a Revy,200 pbs, and a Steel 68/3000 psi tank. However the weight is perfectly ballanced Therefore it gives you a good steady feel of the gun. If people think this gun is too heavy to hold they are WEAK.

Simplicity:
This gun has very few visable moving parts. Even on the inside of the valve they are not that many moving parts. The gun is soo easy to clean. It even has a spot on the valve where it says OIL, and you put some oil in it every like 10 games and your fine.

Upgrades:
AGD makes many upgrades such as..
RT Valve- Makes gun able to shoot from 13 bps too about 27 bps with no shoot down.
lvl10 Bolt- Never chop a ball again.
Intellifeed- Electric trigger that makes gun a TON faster
ULE body- For pure looks, and weight.
Warp feed- Up to 20 bps and lowers profile a lot
A few others too...

Efficiency:
This is where the mag doesn't do too good. I get about 750 shots out of my 68/3000 which isn't horrible, but on my spyder I got a good 1000. And there really isn't an upgrade that can fix the efficiency problem.... yet.

Conclusion: Great gun for ANYONE.
Efficiency-8/10
Upgrades-10/10
Simplicity-10/10
Weight-9/10
Comfort-10/10
Noise-10/10
Accuracy-8/10
Consistency-10/10
AGD-10/10
Durability-10/10
Price-10/10
Size-10/10
I'll round up which means this gun is a perfect 10.
Rating:
10 out of 10

Nice Review...

But, the intelliframe isnt an electronic frame, its a mechanical trigger that can be hooked up to your revy or warpfeed for reliable feeding

I agree, nice review. But a Mag's reg. lowers the incoming 800 PSI air down to 400 I believe, so that is why I think it's quieter than a Spyder. Correct me if I'm wrong.

you're right, a mag is much quieter than almost any spyder/clone/tippmann.

how could he get 1000 shots from a spyder off a 68/3000??
Spyders operate at like 800 psi! Unless he made his spyder ultra LP

My friend has a Rodeo that we tricked out with a new block and reg, w/ valve and spring kit and whatnot and we get 1100 shots ouf of my 68 cu. 3000 psi. You have to have a good paint to bore match and decent reg for it to run nice, but holy crap was it worth it. We put on a CAMD frame too and its the nastiest Spyder at Absolute Paintball.

BTW- the hole marked "Oil" doesn't actually go anywhere.
