Recommended Upgrades: |
1. The ONLY thing that i seriously recommend 'upgrading' on this marker is a 12v revvy. I wouldnt shoot the gun without one. It's hard to appreciate its lightining fast speed without a loader that is up to par.
2. The first thing that i would do to this gun is to purchase an after market barrel. Don't get me wrong, I think the stock barrel is just fine, but if i had to choose, it'd be the first thing to go. In my opinion a 14 in Dye Boomstick is the only way to go.
3. Secondary upgrades that i would recommend for this marker are only if you want them and you have the money lying around. The drop forward isnt huge and the expansion chamber is more of a grip than a functioning component. If you want optimum comfort and efficiency out of this gun, a bigger drop and x-chamber would be great, but not necessary.
4. Lastly if you want something sweet to show off to the boys in the neighborhood, id look into a sweet spot trigger. It is true that there is some side-to-side motion in the trigger; but thats not why you would replace it with a sweet spot. The sweet spot trigger gives you that hair-clicking angel fast speed, and for 20 bucks its at a price thats not to tough for you to squeeze out of your mom. |

| Review: |
I would recommend the Electra DX to anyone who is looking into a high end E-marker. The Electra DX is a fast and reliable marker. Coming off of a Tippmann Custom 98, i had high standards in terms of durability and dependability. The Electra has met both of those requirements. The only problem I have encountered with this gun is a leaky hose, and that isnt even a fault of the gun.
The Spyder E-markers are all around great guns. They are ideal for neighborhood fun in the woods as well as weekend tournament play. The DX is sleek and fast, and fully capable of 13 balls per second. With the multiple firing modes (semi, 3-round, 6-round, full auto) you have an array of firing capabilities, literally at your finger tips. Unlike the E-99, the Electra DX's firing modes can be easily accessed at the push of a button on the back of the trigger frame. The LED display is simple and less complicated than the light display of other e-markers.
After experiencing the mouse-click firing of Spyder E-markers, i would never go back to anything else. The Electra DX is just another testament to fast and affordable Kingman guns. |

| Conclusion: |
The Electra DX is a total package. Its everything any player wants and more. Four firing modes at adjustable speeds, expansion chamber, drop forward, verticle feed, and stock 14in barrel! This gun is perfect for all players, it will transform your game. |
