Review:
This is the best mod (related to fsdo and bolt stick) you can buy for your older style impulse. First off you impulse must have a hole that is drilled below the asa for this to work. what this does is it makes it so you can seperate completely the air for the solinoid and air for the valve, like an iso mod or lpr set up. an iso or isolation mod has a hose that comes out of your asa and goes into the hole that a tapeworm might go into. an iso mod requires an unsightly hose to be sticking out of your impulse. the vff (voodoo full flow) eliminates that, looks kick ass, and i have a friend who thinks it works better (it doesn't, it works the same, you could call a vff an internal iso mod). the vff, when installed properly completely eliminates fsdo and if you keep your hammer/ram clean it will eliminate bolt stick (for me so far at least). you can buy it as a vertical full flow or as a angled full flow. also, the difference between this and a lpr is the lpr lets your impulse run at a lower pressure (115-140psi) while the vff lets you impulse run at a higher pressure (140-155psi).
Conclusion:
the only bad thing is it can burn a hole in your pocket, like 50$ one. New Dezignz has a asa that is much cheeper (29$ or something) and does basically the same this called a High Flow Vertical (hfv) or an Angled High Flow (ahf). the vff is the best as far as iso mods go. i'm giving it a 10/10 because it has no flaws what so ever.
