I bought this well today and I am very impressed! first shot I took broke a ball... because the velocity was cranked = 540 fps... But not to worry took me a first time automag user about 3 minutes to clean. Although I did blows the guts of my gun completely accross the room... hehe forgot to turn off my tank. Just simply close the p/f, take off your barrel and take the guts out of the gun. Clean off the bolt and clean the inside of the barrel and your done. I reassembled it and turn the velocity down about 1.3 turns and it shot flawlessly. I had been shooting a cocker for two years and this was a difference of night and day! Although I wasn't used to obstructed vision, every shot I took was exactly on target. (Which by the way was a Klenex box at 80 feet away) After a loader or two, just to get the feel of the trigger I was hooked, I shot at the damn crows pecking through my trash bags and that's when I realized... My Fugging trigger was bouncing off of my finger. Similar to the Rt but with a minimag.... It would bounce almost 3 times everytime I would pull the trigger half way and then pull the rest 1/3 of a second later! I hear that pressure affects the bhounce of the trigger but STILL! A STOCK MINIMAG VALVE BOUNCING! amazing... about 6 bps was what I totaled. I'm guessing because I went through my rev in 30 seconds flat. Some were probably even over and some were probably under but that's an average. |
