I love the thumper ram. I have experienced no problems except that i did not grease it yet so it kinda sticks so i ordered some DOW 33, dont use anything else! This ram is great tho, when i had the ram in, i could shoot fast ya, but the accuracy would be so far off because the kick, now when you shoot, you barley feel the gun moving in your hands. This is a great upgrade.

This is a great ram, i highly reccomend this to someone whos looking to dramatically change peformance!
all 3 of you are wrong! dont use dow on any delrin, it will swell it up. dow 55 and 33 are reccomended for the stock ram, but the thumper ram is delrin, and will swell up like a blimp. use tri-flow for anything delrin.
Sir Porkchop is right the only type of lube you should use on delrin is tri-flow. I use it on my stock Alias bolt and it works great. Also cockerboy you don't HAVE to use Dow55. You can use Dow 33 or Buzzys Slick Honey. I personally like Slick Honey better then Dow grease. Dow tends to get sticky and gooy even when freshly applied to the internals. After I started using Slick Honey I never went back to Dow grease.
It doesnt matter if dow swells the delrin, which i dont think it does, because the delrin in the ram application is used for weight reduction purposes not for its low coefficient of friction properties, no part of the delrin ram section touches the interior of the ram tube, its sliding on the o-rings.
