I just wanted to post that the SLAM bolt is VERY impressive.
However, I think the advertised bps and effieciency is pretty conservative. I'm trying to arrange to video an actual test at my local field. (i.e. setup the marker in a vise, load a bunch of pods and run them thru to measure shots per 68/4500). I have a strong suspesion that I'll get more than the advertised 1300.
I put the #16 O-ring on my sail and dropped the pressure significantly. I haven't noticed any difference in bps from my previous GEN E bolt. It's pretty tough to accurately measure bps with an LED tho - it feels like 15+ when fanning. I HAVE noticed a drastic improvment in efficiency!!!
I'm assuming that Aardy went conservative on advertised performance as a method of managing cust expectations. I love it when companies are responsible advertisers.
Anyhoo, kudos on another great bolt Aardy!!

i would reccommend this bolt to any matrix addict.
it offers the ability to customize your bolt setup and drastically improves efficiency.
personally i found any reduction in bps in unnoticable. |
