Marker Setup: Spyder Victor II (Stock) 12 oz CO2
Strengths: Cheap - Got this with tank, mask, hopper for $80
Pretty accurate
Easy to take apart
Weaknesses: Loose screws - trigger frame almost came off first time
Useless sight rail
Review: This is my first gun and it's pretty good. I didn't get a lot of people with this the first time I used it, but I'm new to paintball so I don't think thats the problem.... I never had any problems with it except when my friend used it for one round, the hopper blew off completely while he was shooting.
This gun is very easy to take apart, because it is my first gun and I was able to take it apart in a couple minutes (got stuck for a while on how to put the bolt and striker back though =\). It's pretty accurate and light.
The sight rail is useless, since all you can see is the elbow and hopper. The elbow raises the hopper a couple inches, so you'll get shot more in the hopper, probably.
Oh yeah -- its loud. Very loud.
Conclusion: Good gun for beginners and intermediates, since it's easy to take apart/maintain, doesn't require a lot of skill to use it. You can get it for around $50 so it's a good gun to start with. Not exactly great, but not that bad either.
9 out of 10
