Review:
when i owned a impulse i waned to get a otb frame. i sold my impulse though. but when my friend got his i was excited to see it. he bought it over to my house cause he always has me do his triggers. first thing i noticed was it looked very nice. then the adjustment scew that controls the length of the pull is made of plastic and uses a different tool than a allen wrench. it uses a bit that looks kinda like a star. lucky i had one in my tool box. th trigger is also made of a strong plastic, but that helps the the trigger go back and forth easily. the magnets at the lightest setting if you want the trigger short is very crisp making it hard to walk. we had to sand down the screw sow we coul back out the magnets more so i would be lighter. that worked. also when you take the frame off you might notice that the frame only has one screw to hold it to the solenoid tray. this is a pain in the butt when trying to aline the trigger with the micro switch. personally i i owned i impulse still id much rather use a iframe or even the stock frame with a blade trigger. waste of money if you want a quality frame with a easy short pull.
Conclusion:
if you like the frame get it. kinda a pain to work with. i would MUCH rather own i frame. the blade trigger seemed to shoot just as fast.
even though i can relate to what you say about alining the trigger w/ the mirco switch, but i like the fact that it only has one screw to connect it to the solenoid tray-it is easier to take the solenoid tray/trigger frame apart. also, the little star shaped tool should have came with the trigger frame.
ok, first, i have a friend to that has an otb...it is the best frame by far for an impulse...it shoots much faster than the i frame. all that other stuff u mentioned was stuff that just had to be done once and then u wouldnt have to do it again...
you did not say anything about the performance, lots of things need to get adjusted when new. I don't think that it is appropriate to write a review on an item that you only adjujsted. NOT HELPFUL
This review is really not needed, the rest of the reviews give it a 10/10 you gave it a 5 bringing it down to 9.7, there is almost nothing functionablly wrong with this trigger frame.
